FESTIVAL LAUNCH & OPENING WEEKEND

The Festival opens at all exhibition venues across Newcastle and Gateshead on 2 March. The opening weekend includes talks with exhibiting artists Pallavi Paul, Bianca Baldi and Prabhakar Pachpute plus a special round-table convened by Raqs Media Collective. Cinema screenings include work by artists Jeamin Cha, Anton Vidokle and the UK premiere of The Young Karl Marx.
