This UK premiere follows Big Men’s acclaimed debut at the Tribeca Film Festival. It documents Dallas-based oil company Kosmos Energy between 2007 and 2011, as they discover the first commercial oil field in Ghana’s history. With unprecedented access the two-person film crew expose ambition, greed and corruption, as the oil company falls under the scrutiny of the new Ghanaian government and the U.S Justice Department. Meanwhile in the nearby Niger Delta, pipelines are attacked and set on fire as militants continue to demand more of the oil wealth from their government.
