The UK premiere of this new documentary by Andreas Horvath depicts a modern day gold rush. Set in the legendary Klondike gold fields of Yukon, Canada, individual miners compete to find the precious metal still believed to lie underground since the infamous 1890s gold rush. In the current economic climate, the high price of gold makes the search all the more compelling. From the lone panning of an individual prospector to large corporate operations, the film follows the men’s personal sacrifices in their quest.
