Sunday 25 March

SUNDAY 25 MARCH 2012

Our Equinox Music Weekend of special concerts ended today, with the second episode of a new work by Attila Csihar the baritone voice of Sunn 0))). Inspired by alchemy he performs a specially created text in Enochian, the language of Angels.

Our Walks series continued today, with an early morning walk with artist Mike Collier and natural historian Keith Bowey that meanders along the banks of the River Wear.

The film programme continued to provide an introduction to slowness and cinema from across the world. Tonight Sivaroj Kongsakul’s debut feature Eternity plays at Star and Shadow Cinema. Winning the prestigious Tiger Award at Rotterdam 2011, it follows a man through three stages of being. With our film loyalty card you could watch 4 films and the 5th was FREE.

All of our Exhibitions were open today, except for:

Sunderland venues: NGCA, Reg Vardy Gallery and 50 Fawcett Street.

Radio Boredcast was online 24-hours today, see the daily schedule below for 25 March 2012.
