SUNDAY 18 MARCH 2012

Our film programme continued to provide an introduction to slowness and cinema from across the world.

Tonight Sergio Caballero’s new debut feature Finisterrae played at Star and Shadow Cinema. This humorous film about the pilgrimage of two Russian ghosts has a stunning soundtrack including Suicide and Nico. With our film loyalty card you could watch 4 films and the 5th was FREE.

During the day our Walks series continued with Laura Harrington’s peatlands walk to a bothy screening of her new film Layerscape (peat bogs).

All of our Exhibitions were open today, except for:

Sunderland venues: NGCA, Reg Vardy Gallery, CIRCA Screen and 50 Fawcett Street.

Radio Boredcast was online 24-hours today, see the daily schedule below for 18 March 2012.
