This simple and serene film shows the life of a Buddhist monk as he passes through the seasons of his life, from childhood to old age. The Buddhist inspired fable takes place on a small floating monastery, the centre of existence for the monk and his young apprentice. Spring, Summer… powerfully shows the passage of cyclical time and transcendence.
