Ruth Catlow is an artist and co-founder of Furtherfield.org, a grass roots media arts organisation and online community. She co-runs HTTP Gallery in North London where she works with other artists, hackers, activists and thinkers at the intersection of art, technology and social change. Feral Trade Café was first presented as a functioning café and exhibition at HTTP Gallery in summer 2009.

Biography
Ruth Catlow is an artist and co-founder of Furtherfield an online community for art, technology and social change and a gallery. She works with artists, curators, musicians, programmers, writers, activists and thinkers from around the world, and regularly contributes to publications, books and conferences. Her work has been exhibited at Givon Gallery, Tel Aviv; CCA, Glasgow; Limehouse Town Hall, London; and on DVblog, the Rhizome Artbase and The Digital Kitchen. She was a recipient of a 2003 Low-fi Net Art Commission.
