Created by local producers NOVAK, AV:ISION was a series of after-dark parties and lounges at clubs, cafes and other venues across the region.

29 Febuary: Lumen at Secco Bar, Newcastle
The first AV:ISION event was a special edition of the North East’s only dedicated audiovisual night, Lumen. Established in 2003, Lumen presents the art of live audiovisual, VJ and DJ based performers to wide public audiences. This event featured a special showcase of local students work.

1 March: NoName at Bernaccia, Newcastle
Live electronic music presenters NoName, having brought the likes of Benga, Modeselektor and Sleeparchive to the North East, took over Bernaccia for a late night AV special.

3 March: Lumen at Basement, Middlesbrough
As part of Late & Live in Middlesbrough, the evening came to a close with a late night special by Lumen.

4 March: Novak Collective & Guests at Basement, Middlesbrough
This special event included some of the best AV performances from nationally recognised artists, as well as a premiere of a brand new interactive work based around text inputting.

5 March: 3D Disco at Bar Absolute, Middlesbrough
NOVAK performed a new 3D Disco set, last seen supporting the Chemical Brothers in Trafalgar Square.

6 March: WARD 10 at White Room, Sunderland
As part of Late & Live in Sunderland, the evening came to a close with local promoters WARD 10 at the legendary venue White Room.

7 March: WARD 10 at National Glass Centre, Sunderland
Sunderland electronic/house promoters WARD 10 teamed up with AV:ISION to transform the National Glass Centre into a dazzling music venue.
