Jimmy McGovern’s name is synonymous with powerful, hard-hitting drama. In a career that spans over twenty years he has created landmark shows that include Cracker, Hillsborough, Sunday, and The Street. But how does one of the country’s leading screenwriters work? How does he get these difficult projects from inception to broadcast? This was a unique opportunity to hear from the established writer and to ask questions about his work. This talk at Cineworld coincided with the Northern Screenwriters Conference.
