Resonator
Resonator, 2009, image courtesy Jamie Allen and Will Schrimshaw

Artists Jamie Allen and Will Schrimshaw develop a special seven-day event investigating vibration and sound as forms of energy. In an open workshop structure, an incredible mix of sound artists, researchers, theologians, technologists and mystics are pitted and paired together to think about sonic environments across a materialist and spiritualist spectrum. The project includes daily coffee mornings and presentations for all to attend, alongside workshop and production sessions for participants. Resonator culminates in an exhibition of in-progress work: vestiges and fragments of an acoustic reckoning.
