Shogun Kunitoki

An evening of alternative folk, pop and post-rock that aims to help electronic music regress back to a more human state. Shogun Kunitoki is a quartet from Helsinki with a love of vintage synths, keyboards, oscillators and ring modulators, performing their own invented strobe light to create an ultimate psychedelic experience. Joined by Finnish collective Kiila, one of the first bands on the acclaimed Fonal label often compared to MV&EE and Espers; and Alasdair Roberts, a leading force in the UK new folk scene.

£12, tickets available direct from The Sage Gateshead or 0191 443 4661

Produced by No-Fi and The Sage Gateshead.
