THIS WEEKEND – UK PREMIERE OF CHRIS & COSEY LIVE MIX OF DESERTSHORE

This weekend sees one of the Festival highlights – a special tribute event to Peter Christopherson, including guest appearances by Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti.

The event includes a full 40 min live set by Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti. The UK premiere live mix of the last recorded Throbbing Gristle album, a ‘cover’ of Nico’s ‘Desertshore’.

Chris Watson has created a spatial 20 min sound mix for the event, based on his ghostly recordings of Durham Cathedral. And Attila Csihar will perform live a stunning version of Coil’s ‘Manunkind’.

If this wasn’t enough the event also includes films by Derek Jarman and Philippe Garrel.

This is an unmissable event. Online tickets are still available, and limited tickets will be available on the door.
